I never really thought too much about shower water before. Like honestly, I just assumed water is water, right? You turn it on, take a shower, and move on with your day. But after a while I started noticing my skin always felt kinda dry after every shower, and my hair looked weirdly frizzy even when I used expensive shampoo. At first I blamed the weather… then my products… basically everything except the actual water.

Then I heard about the AquaTru Shower and I got curious.

What made me interested was the 4-stage filtration thing because apparently regular shower water can contain chlorine, chloramine, and other stuff that isn’t exactly great for your skin. I didn’t expect some huge dramatic difference overnight, but after using it for a bit, I could actually feel something changing. My skin didn’t feel as tight after showering and my hair seemed less dry. Maybe that sounds dramatic for a showerhead, but it’s true.

The shower also has four different settings which I didn’t think I’d care about… but now I use them all the time. Sometimes I want a soft relaxing spray, especially at night when I’m exhausted, and other times I switch to the stronger setting because it kinda feels like a mini massage. It’s weirdly comforting after a stressful day.

And honestly? It looks really nice too. A lot of filtered showerheads look super bulky or cheap-looking, but this one actually blends into the bathroom without looking ugly. The four finishes make it feel more modern and less like some random gadget you regret buying online at 2 a.m.

I think what surprised me most is how something so small changed part of my routine. Showering used to be just another thing I had to do before work or before bed. Now it feels a little more relaxing, a little more refreshing. Not life-changing in some magical way, but enough that I notice it every day.

I guess I never realized how much water quality matters until I actually experienced cleaner water for myself. Once you get used to it, going back to a normal shower honestly feels different.
