How Beginners Can Protect Themselves from Scams

When I first started making content on FeetFinder, I honestly thought the hardest part would be taking good photos and building an audience. I was excited because people kept talking about how much money custom requests could make. Personalized videos, special outfits, certain nail colors, random little requests like walking barefoot outside or stepping in water. That stuff usually pays more, so of course I jumped into it fast.

But looking back now, I was way too trusting in the beginning.

The second scammers realize you’re new, they start circling immediately. And when you’re excited to make money, it’s easy to ignore red flags because you want the opportunity to be real. I almost fell for a few scams myself honestly.

One thing I learned very quickly is this. Never ever send custom content before getting paid first. Doesn’t matter how convincing the buyer sounds. Some of them promise huge payments after delivery and act super professional about it too. Then the second you send the content, they disappear completely. No payment, no reply, nothing.

Another thing scammers always try to do is move the conversation off the platform. They’ll say stuff like oh let’s use Telegram or Snapchat instead because it’s easier, or they’ll claim they can pay through Cash App to avoid fees. Huge red flag. The second you leave the platform, you lose all protection. If they scam you after that, there’s basically nothing you can do.

I also saw a lot of fake payment tricks. Someone once tried telling me they accidentally sent too much money and needed me to refund part of it back. Another person claimed I had to pay a small processing fee first to unlock a larger payment. Completely fake. Real platforms don’t work like that.

Now I stick to a very strict routine anytime someone orders custom feet content from me. If they want something personalized, I only use the platform’s official custom order feature. Everything gets written clearly before I even start filming. What they want, how much they’re paying, how long the video is supposed to be, all of it.

And most importantly, I wait until the platform confirms the payment is secured before doing any work at all.

That part matters more than beginners realize.

Once payment is locked in, then I film the content and upload everything directly through the secure order page. It keeps things organized and honestly makes the whole process feel safer.

Custom requests can definitely make good money, probably the best money on platforms like this, but you really have to protect yourself too. Being creative is important, sure, but having boundaries and not letting people pressure or manipulate you matters just as much.

A lot of scammers depend on beginners being too excited or too nervous to say no. The longer you work feet finder online, the more you realize protecting your time and your content is part of the job too.
